In this book, he deals with the history of famines in Egypt and their causes, as he elaborates on the economic crises and famines that Egypt experienced, to depict for us what most groups of the Egyptian people and masses endured in terms of tribulations and tragedies, while the rulers were heedless, most of whom preferred to stay away from the masses, and put all their concerns in Reaping, collecting and multiplying money, preserving power and governance by various moral and immoral means, and whatever befalls the people of pain and misfortune. |
