كتاب في المقابسات، وهي أن يشترك اثنان أو أكثر من الناس في محاورة علمية، فيأخذ أحدهم العلم من اﻵخر، ويعطيه ما عنده من العلم، وقد احتوى الكتاب على حوالي 106 مقابسة، كل منها يدور حول موضوع مستقل. حيث تتناول عدداً كبيراً من قضايا الفلسفة في ماهية الوجود، والعقل، والنفس، والطبيعة، والمعرفة والأخلاق. وتثير جملة من القضايا الأدبية التي لها تعلق بالأبحاث الفلسفية، والمنطقية بخاصة، وقضايا اجتماعية ودينية تبحث على ضوء الفلسفة، وتلتمس لها الحلول منها. كما احتوى الكتاب على أحاديث ومحاورات فلسفية بين عدد من العلماء والفلاسفة واﻷدباء سمعها أبو حيان فسجلها، وكذلك مختارات من كتب فلاسفة المسلمين أو من الكتب المترجمة عن الفلسفة اليونانية وشروحها. |
| Summary |
This book includes the dialogues of knowledge that were made between philosophers, scholars, and men of letters, and were recorded by the author. Some chapters of the book also entail some selective information from the translated texts of Greek philosophy and Islamic one, in addition to lessons, whether written or dictated or even delivered somewhere. Based upon this, It is of high importance among author works, for it shows his prolific cultural knowledge, giving a vivid picture of the prosperous cooperation among people of diverse sects and creeds for the sake of mutually gaining knowledge, learning both philosophy, and literature, by showing greater tolerance towards each other. |
